Double charger live at Waiouru

ChargeNet has its first double charger at Waiouru operational.

The site on the corner of Hassett Drive and State Highway 1 is awaiting final sign-off next Tuesday, but the works are all complete except for bay marking, ChargeNet says.

Waiouru is a vital link in the SH1 chain and these chargers now connect its Turangi site to the north and Mangaweka to the south.

The chargers are fully operational, offering the standard CHAdeMO and CCS-Type2 handsets.

Powerco and the National Army Museum have provided the necessary support, so ChargeNet invites EV drivers to stop for a charge and visit the museum.
