EV fleet approaching 5000

The electric vehicle fleet is fast approaching the 5000 milestone, with a big month for the Nissan Leaf leading the charge.

The model entered the top 20 used import passenger car list with 182 vehicles registered.

The overall electric fleet totals 4909 vehicles, boosted by 334 extra units in September – 245 used imports and 89 new vehicles.

Of the overall fleet, the majority are owned by private individuals rather than companies – 2957 to 1446 – with 506 not accounted for.
