Iveco awarded international sustainability prize
Commercial vehicle manufacturer Iveco is the winner of a global accolade for sustainability.
The company’s new Daily Blue Power range has been voted International Van of the Year by a panel of 25 motoring journalists from across Europe.
The prize was announced this week at an international road transport trade show in Lyon, France.

The award is recognition of the brand’s focus on using technology to improve sustainability. The van range offers electric, natural gas and advanced diesel technologies.
Judges praised the vehicles saying Iveco offers “viable solutions to reduce the environmental impact” of light commercial vehicles (LCV) in urban operations.
International Van of the Year chairman Jarlath Sweeney says Iveco has always “been on the forefront of sustainability” the LCV market and the prize confirms that.
Iveco brand president Pierre Lahutte received the award and says the company makes great effort to “contribute to the battle for clean air in our cities” and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
The Daily Blue Power range launched internationally in October 2017 with zero-emissions vehicle the Daily Electric, advanced diesel-powered Daily Euro 6 RDE 2020 Ready, and compressed natural gas-powered Daily Hi-Matic Natural Power.
