BMW, for instance, displays the next steps in its electrification strategy, and heralds new models.

It has the world premiere of its high-performance sports car the new BMW M2 Competition and the Asian premiere of its new BMW X2, X3 and X4 sports activity range, also introducing its Concept X7 iPerformance which includes plug-in hybrid drive, and the Concept 8 Series.

The Asian premiere of the BMW I Vision Dynamics electric mobility outlines the latest BMW eDrive technology soon to take form in the BMW i4 with a 600km electric range.

The new BMW i8 Roadster plug-in hybrid sports car features, along with BMW Wireless Charging providing cable-free power using an inductive charging station (GroundPad) which can be installed either in the user’s garage or outside in the ground – and a component built into the car’s underfloor section (the CarPad).

Automated driving technology will be displayed too.
