Evoke electric motorcycles coming here

Beijing-based Evoke Electric Motorcycles is bringing its electric bikes to New Zealand this year.

It has just announced a dealership here has been signed, trading under Evoke Motorcycles New Zealand.

“Kevin and Linda Harty have shown great enthusiasm in their desire to bring electric mobility to New Zealand and we are very happy to be partnering with them,” Evoke’s sales vice-president Sebastian Chrobok says. “We’re excited for the chance to introduce more people to the future of mobility and are looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership with our new Evoke dealers.”

Both models of Evoke’s Urban Series line-up, the Evoke Urban S and Evoke Urban Classic, will be available in New Zealand.

The first shipment is expected to arrive at the end of June.
