BMW NZ announces new managing director

Florian Renndorfer
Electric vehicle advocate Florian Renndorfer will relinquish leadership of BMW New Zealand on September 1.
Renndorfer, who has overseen the rollout BMW’s electric models since he took up the role in 2015 and promoted the benefits of EVs in New Zealand, will return to the company’s Munich office.
He is set to take the lead of worldwide sales development and sales steering for BMW Motorrad.
He is being replaced by Karol Abrasowicz-Madej, who is currently responsible for dealer network development at BMW Group Japan.
Abrasowicz-Madej has been with BMW for 16 years in a variety of roles.
Both Abrasowicz-Madej and Renndorfer will make further comment about their new roles closer to the handover date, BMW New Zealand spokesman Paul Sherley told EVtalk.
