Are you a key part of the future of New Zealand’s low emission transport system and passionate about transitioning the sector?
The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) is tasked with mobilising New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use.

It is working towards the reduction of the transport sector’s energy-related emissions and building a team to support this journey.

EECA is looking for a senior sector transport analyst with a strong technical understanding of the transport sector and supply chain, and a natural ability to engage proactively and positively with the transport industry.

In the near future this role will have a close focus on supporting a robust evidence base helping to inform EECA’s goal of switching the New Zealand fleet to low emissions technology, while ensuring fossil-fuelled vehicles are as efficient as possible.

The new analyst will join a fresh thinking team, and be a person who can contribute strong commercial and political nous, possess great communication skills, and hold a credible reputation, for influencing New Zealanders’ transportation future.
