EV focus for Detroit Auto Show
EVs and innovation are key features for the North American International Auto Show (aka Detroit Auto Show) in Michigan from September 14-25.
The show was curtailed by COVID in 2020 and 2021, then delayed, meaning it was last held in 2019.
Brands on show include Hyundai, Lexus, Volvo, Toyota, GMC, Porsche, Volkswagen, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Mazda, Kia, Subaru, Ford, Chevrolet and the FCA.
Fermata Energy will have its proprietary vehicle-to-everything (V2X) software platform there, and bi-directional chargers that turn EVs into mobile energy storage assets.
“This makes it possible for EV owners to combat climate change, increase energy resilience, and earn revenue,” the company says.
During the past few years Fermata Energy has installed its bidirectional charging units and technology at commercial, utility, and fleet companies across the US.
Fermata Energy recently announced a new partnership with Revel, a ride-share company in New York.
