Reservations open for Ford Mustang Mach-E
Ford Mustang Mach-E reservations are open for New Zealand customers, with pricing and specifications also available.
The Mach-E coming to New Zealand in early 2023 has drive-away pricing starting at $79,990, qualifying for the NZ Clean Car rebate.
The complete line-up with pricing and performance is the Mach-E RWD ($79,990 drive-away), 757kWh battery, 440km range (WLTP), 198kW power and 430Nm torque able to reach 100km/h from zero in 6.1 seconds; the Mach-E AWD (extended battery) from $109,990 (plus on road costs), 98.7kWh battery, 550km range, 258kW power and 560Nm torque, 0-100km in 5.1 seconds; and the Mach-E GT AWD ($124,900 plus on road costs), 98.7kWh battery, 490km range, 358kW power and 860Nm torque, 0-100kmh in 3.7 seconds.
The top-of-the-line Mustang Mach-E GT provides a refined, premium specification five-seater SUV with the acceleration of a super-car and zero tailpipe emissions.
More than 200 customers have already signed up, says Ford NZ.
The Mach-E joins a widespread electrified Ford NZ line-up including the new e-Transit Cargo, Transit Custom PHEV and Focus, Puma and Escape SUV hybrids.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E has received numerous awards and accolades around the world, including from independent authorities Euro NCAP and Green NCAP who delivered double honours for Ford Mustang Mach-E with maximum safety and green ratings. The Mustang Mach-E has now received more than 20 awards and recognitions for features from interior design to connectivity.
Kiwi customers will have the choice of up to seven new Ford electrified vehicles by the end of 2024.
This year Ford has already moved to offer electrified powertrains – PHEVs, MHEVs and hybrids – across the majority of its passenger, SUV and Transit range.
Ford New Zealand’s first full battery electric commercial vehicle the new Ford E-Transit also arrives this year, the local company’s EV roadmap forming part of Ford’s global investment of US$30 billion (about NZ$43 billion) in electrification by 2025.
To ensure a smooth electrification rollout, Ford New Zealand has partnered with Singer Electric New Zealand for installations and ABB for hardware enabling a leading supplier capability for electric vehicle charging infrastructure for both homes and businesses.
With Singer Electric, Ford has rolled out charging stations for Ford NZ’s main dealer network sites already and will shortly extend this to all branch locations.
Installations include customer forecourt charging stations and charging capabilities in service areas.
