BYD expands NZ dealer network
Four new BYD showrooms will be operational by the end of 2022 with further expansion confirmed with dealers in Hawke’s Bay, Northland, and a service centre in Queenstown all due to open before the end of March next year.
That will bring BYD New Zealand representation to 11 showrooms across the country.
BYD New Zealand has announced phase two expansion of its dealer network that includes four new showrooms to open before the end of the year and a further five to open within the next six months.
Brent Boddy Prestige has been appointed to represent BYD at its Takaro Street, Palmerston North showroom, while Automarque BYD in Lower Hutt rounds out BYD representation in the lower North Island.
Andrew Simms owned and operated BYD Botany and BYD Dunedin open their doors next month with an experience store in the Botany Town Centre, Auckland and an impressive placement in the Wall Street Mall in Dunedin.
“With the success of BYD’s Atto 3 sales in New Zealand so far, phase two expansion of the network is very timely for us,” says BYD New Zealand brand manager Warren Willmot.
“Our five current showrooms have been exceptionally busy since the BYD Auto launched in June 2022, with enquiry from all over New Zealand.
“Prospective buyers will be pleased to learn new BYD showrooms will be opening in a main centre close to them soon.”
Willmot says BYD New Zealand continues to partner with selected dealers who set a high standard of customer service and professionalism to ensure BYD ownership is an enjoyable experience.
Following on from BYD Botany, BYD Dunedin, Brent Boddy Prestige and Lower Hutt BYD, the next round of openings, all expected to be selling before March 2023, include Northland BYD represented by Keith Andrews in a modern showroom based in Whangarei.
Hawke’s Bay-based Bayswater BYD will be opening its doors to customers in both Hastings and Napier, and a BYD service centre will open in Queenstown. Click here for dealer contact details and further information.
