Nissan switching R32 GT-R to one-off EV

Nissan is converting an R32 GT-R sports car to a one-off EV.

The brand released a teaser video of the project which reveals the car’s exhaust tip and exhaust note.

That’s left Driving wondering if either of those are destined to stick around much longer, as part of a hybrid drivetrain, or headed for the scrap-bin as this version of “Godzilla” goes full EV?

Nissan says the project “R32EV” comes from a GT-R engineer enthusiast, aiming to create a car people globally will be excited about.

Speculators suggest an electric motor at the front and another the rear.
