BMW Motorrad New Zealand intends introducing the BMW CE 04 electric motorcycle starting in October, priced from $28,490 plus on-road costs (ORC).

Kiwi riders will love the powerful motor (31kW) which offers outstanding riding pleasure alongside plenty of range (up to 130km) from a single charge, says New Zealand brand manager Dennis Holland.

Designed mainly for the urban motorcyclist, the BMW CE 04 is the brand’s new electric star for the city, says BMW AG chief executive Oliver Zipse.

“(It has) the latest technology, and the best battery cells, which also provide power in the BMW iX.

“Just like the CE 04, all future new BMW Motorrad models for urban mobility will be pure electric.”
