Nissan EV models at Japan Mobility Show
Nissan has an array of electrified concept cars in an interactive booth at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo from October 23-November 5.
The brand’s key electrified technologies and initiatives will be available at the booth.
Nissan will also reveal one-by-one a series of EV concepts in digital form leading up to the show’s press day on October 25.
Each concept is targeted at a distinct demographic and designed with custom-tailored features for each user’s unique lifestyle and needs.
Nissan booth visitors can experience interactive presentations, an e-4ORCE all-wheel-control driving simulator, and taking a selfie with the excitement of Formula-E-like acceleration.
Some 90th anniversary special edition production models will be at the booth, including the Nissan Leaf.
Others displayed include the Nissan Ariya and a Formula E race car, while Nissan has a special show website where concept car information will be available.
A special music video will be streamed live 24/7 on the Nissan YouTube channel until October 25 with a new concept car appearing each week – further announcements expected October 10, 17 and 19.

Meanwhile, Nissan has digitally revealed its electric “Hyper Urban” concept at its Kanagawa technical centre as the first in the EV concept series.
It targets urban- and suburban-based professionals who prioritise environmental sustainability.
The Nissan Hyper Urban has vehicle-to-home (V2H), an intelligent charging management system featuring AI that can autonomously charge vehicles and power buildings, providing efficient power management.
Hardware updates and regular software updates provide a fresh ownership experience over many years. For example, the interior can be refreshed with a new instrument panel that reflects the latest technologies and trends in graphic user interfaces, Nissan says.
The concept has front and rear scissor doors, a sporty and aerodynamic silhouette, wide tyres, an “urban living space blended” interior with the instrument panel and display customised according to the owner’s mood.

Front seats can collapse and fold into the back seats, creating a sofa-like, private relaxing space, allowing it to be parked inside a loft apartment or bungalow.
