‘Electric Cherry’ on Hyundai Country Calendar

New Zealand’s first fossil fuel-free cherry orchard New Zealand Zero (NZ0) features on Hyundai Country Calendar, TVNZ, on Sunday October 8, 7pm.

Forest Lodge Orchard, established by Mike and Rebecca Casey in central Otago, runs entirely on electricity – including its Monarch electric tractor, golf karts, and frost-fighting fans.

The orchard’s electric moves have featured in EVs and Beyond magazine in July this year and March 2022.
