EVs feature at Mt Smart Next-Gen Motorsport Day

Rally driver Hayden Paddon will launch the ‘Hyundai New Zealand Next-Gen Motorsport Day’ on Saturday October 28 at Auckland’s Go Media Stadium Mt Smart – a free entry event hosted by ACE Motorsport.

The event showcases future technology and talent in the motorsport industry and will be headlined by Paddon doing demonstration runs in the world’s first Hyundai Kona EV rally car.

The event includes the University of Auckland University Formula SAE electric kart and the EVolocity National Rally Day where high school students from across the country will race their electric karts on the track.

“This free public event is a family-friendly display of motorsport in the Auckland region,” says Paddon, encouraging everyone to attend.
