NZ’s first electric ute replacement details under wraps
LDV distributor Inchcape NZ is confirming the heavily discounted eT60 electric ute – still the only battery electric ute in the country – is the last we will see of the model.
In announcing a price drop from $79,990 to $49,975, which includes a $23,000 discount plus the Clean Car Discount $7015 rebate, Inchcape NZ brand marketing head Daile Stephens said it was a chance to “clear out some current stock to achieve a fresh start in the new year”.
“It means that we will begin 2024 with a clean slate and with space to accommodate the exciting new models we have waiting in the pipeline.”
In further confirmation, Inchcape told Stuff there were no plans to renew supply.
The distributor says a replacement for the eT60 is in the pipeline but remained tight-lipped on details.
EVs and Beyond earlier featured the LDV eT60 price reduction and indicated stock clearance for a fresh start in 2024.
