BP Wairakei opens four drive-through EV charging bays

BP Wairakei is now home to four drive-through charging bays, allowing EV drivers to seamlessly charge up and keep going on their journeys.

 With less hassle for EV drivers, drive-through charging has been one of the most frequently asked questions from customers, says BP, adding its Wairakei chargers include one Chademo and three CCS connectors.

Each charger can provide charging speeds up to 75kW, and the site is also home to BP’s Wild Bean Cafe with plenty of seating and further parking.
