Ford Mustang Mach-E new year price drop

A $5000 price reduction on Ford Mustang Mach-E rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) models, and an $8000 reduction on the flagship GT applies from January 1, 2024.

That means the entry price Mach-E RWD changes from $79,990 to $74,990 (plus on-road costs), the AWD from $109,990 to $104,990 (plus ORC) and the GT from $124,990 to $116,990 (plus ORC).

It’s great news for customers thinking about purchasing a Mustang Mach-E in the new year, says Ford New Zealand of the New Zealand Motoring Writers’ Guild Car of the Year 2023 finalist.

“The Mustang Mach-E offers all-electric performance with the character and exhilaration that only a Mustang can deliver,” says Ford New Zealand managing director Simon Rutherford.

“And as the EV market has continued to evolve, we’re very happy to be able to respond and offer the Mach-E at an even better price point, offering our customers greater value for this

great to drive EV.”

Under the Clean Car Discount (CCD) due to end December 31 this year, the rebate offered allows customers to save more ($7015) on the RWD Mach-E if they buy in December.

No reason for the 2024 price drop other than the “evolving” EV market is given by Ford New Zealand.
