Kia EV9 WWCOTY supreme winner

The Kia EV9 has won the ‘World’s Best Car for 2024’ at the Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY).

The 63 contenders were judged by 75 women motoring journalists from 52 countries who lauded the EV9’s design, advanced technology, and versatility.

The seven-seater includes bidirectional charging and ultra-fast charging capabilities.

Judges praised the EV9 SUV as a groundbreaking addition to the EV market, citing its affordability, user-friendliness, and widespread appeal.

The versatility and performance of Kia’s flagship model, especially in challenging winter conditions, were highlighted alongside its spacious interior and robust performance lauded including a future-proof, multi-purpose EV with exceptional energy efficiency.

The Kia Niro won a similar title in the 2023 WWCOTY awards.

The EV9 has won various awards including the ‘family car’ category at the Golden Steering Wheel 2023, German Luxury Car of the Year 2024, and named among the world’s top three finalists for the 2024 World Car Awards.
