Kia teases new EV3 SUV

Kia says its production EV3 will go on sale later this year following its global unveiling on May 23.

First images showcase its bold, geometric and robust styling, with the EV3’s world premiere live streamed on the Kia Worldwide YouTube channel on Thursday May 23 at 10pm New Zealand time.

Kia provides little EV3 detail at this stage, other than to says its signature Star Map lighting imbues the vehicle with a strong, futuristic identity and that it is compact and comprehensively equipped, with “outstanding” performance.

The EV3 aims to broaden EV accessibility following the Kia EV6 and EV9 models, the brand says.
