Contact Energy FY24 results August 19
Contact Energy chief executive Mike Fuge and chief financial officer Dorian Devers will present Contact’s financial results for the year ended June 30, 2024, on Monday August 19 at 11am.
Click here for a live webcast of the presentation or visit Contact Energy’s website for more information.
Contact suggests all attendees install the Microsoft Teams application to their device or personal computer (PC) beforehand for seamless interaction with the webcast.
It says a question may be asked following the conclusion of the formal presentation by using the ‘Q&A’ function at the top-right hand side of the screen when prompted. Written questions will be moderated, read out and addressed on the call as appropriate.
Contact says Microsoft Teams offers the ability to ‘Watch on web instead’ should you choose not to download the application (by clicking cancel when prompted to download the application). The functionality is only available on laptops or desktops (not phones or tablets) and the company suggests using Chrome.
“An archived replay will be available on our website once the event has concluded.”
From August 19, 2024, the Electricity Authority Levy and Gas Industry Company fees component(s) of the Contact Energy bill will increase slightly, the company warns.
“The EA Levy will increase from 0.16c/kWh to 0.17c/kWh for residential and business customers.
“For residential customers the Gas Industry Company fees will increase from 2.76c/day to 2.85c/day. For business customers the Gas Industry Company fees will increase from 0.03c/kWh to 0.04c/kWh.
“These changes are due to recent increases from the Electricity Authority and the Gas Industry Company and will impact you if you join us after this date or are already with us.”
