Geely shows EVs at Automechanika Frankfurt

Geely Auto Group showcased its latest electrified products and technologies for global markets at the Electric Vehicle Expo, part of Automechanika Frankfurt in Germany.

The group held the European debut of new electrified models, including the Zeekr MIX, Lynk & Co Z10, and Geely EX5, along with showing the E8 and Xingyuan.

Geely AutoElectrified innovations highlighted at Automechanika included Zeekr’s Golden battery, Geely’s latest Short Blade Battery, 11-in-1 integrated e-motors, and Lynk & Co E-Motive hybrid technology.

“The three Geely Auto Group brands attending the expo in Frankfurt are a great representation of the China-based brands in the Geely Holding portfolio, that are now joining the western sister brands in the global market,” says Geely Holding senior vice president Victor Yang.

“Each of the brands has their own distinct identities and positions, competing on different markets and segments; from mass market to luxury segments,” he says.

“They benefit from many shared technologies, manufacturing synergies, global supply chains, and capital access, but have the independence to bring the greatest benefit to global users.

“In this way, Geely Holding’s system has enabled brands of Geely Auto Group to meet the growing demand for electrified products around the world and accelerate the electric transformation of the automotive industry.”

Geely Auto made its return to Frankfurt 20 years since the last time the brand attended an automotive exhibition in Europe.
