The TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team will reveal its new electric racing car the GEN3 Evo generation Porsche 99X Electric on October 24.

Porsche will stream the video world premiere in the Porsche Newsroom as well as on YouTube and LinkedIn.

Guest starring in the stream is Formula E safety car driver and GEN3 Evo development driver Bruno Correia.

With compatriot António Félix da Costa, World Champion Pascal Wehrlein, and team principal Florian Modlinger, Correia of Portugal will get the new Formula E season underway.

Porsche contests its sixth Formula E season in 2024/2025. In addition to the works-run TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team, the American customer outfit Andretti Formula E competes with the Porsche 99X Electric.

The concept of the electric racing car was developed at the company’s Weissach facility, which operates on a net carbon-neutral basis.

Porsche underlines its commitment to take a leading role among traditional automobile manufacturers in the areas of electrification, sustainability and technology.

In Formula E, the brand says it gains valuable insights for its electric series-production sports cars.

Nissan FE new livery October 2024

Meanwhile, the Nissan Formula E Team has unveiled updated livery for the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship amid preparations for the first campaign under the new GEN3 Evo regulations.

Pre-season testing is at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia on November 4-7 while Season 11 opens in Sao Paulo on December 7.

About17 races are scheduled to July 2025 across 11 venues, held across two calendar years for the first time since the 2019–20 season.
