Ford Mustang Mach-E price drop reported

Some Ford New Zealand dealers have reportedly cut prices on Mustang Mach-E electric cars to reduce last year’s stock.

EVs and Beyond understands Mach-E prices are about $55,000, $65,000 and $75,000 for the various trims.

If customers take cars away for the 14-day test drive as per the manufacturer’s promotion and then decide to purchase on return, they will be offered a price that reflects the vehicle is now used and not brand new.

A Ford New Zealand spokesperson told EVs and Beyond comment cannot be provided on dealer transactional pricing but that its “Ultimate Test Drive” programme has been well received, especially for EVs

“Customers are loving the test drives and more often than not buying at the end – or actually well before the two weeks is up.”
