Waste Management NZ welcomes Volvo e-truck fleet

Volvo Trucks New Zealand is celebrating the delivery of seven battery electric vehicles (BEVs) to Waste Management New Zealand (WMNZ).

This includes WMNZ’s first OEM electric box body truck a Volvo FE Electric 6×2, named Agnetha as a tribute to the truck’s Swedish origins.

The other trucks unveiled include four FL Electric units an FE Electric and an FM Heavy Electric, marking a major step forward in the company’s fleet electrification strategy.
