GWM H6GT PHEV orders open
GWM has opened the order books on its H6GT plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) due here in Q1,2025.
The SUV is priced at $58,990 (RRP) including GST plus on-road costs (ORC).
GWM says its H6GT PHEV will be based on the ‘Ultra’ model and has an advanced 1.5L turbocharged hybrid engine producing 110kW power and 230Nm torque, complemented by three motors – two at the front and one at the rear – producing a combined output of 342kW power and 762Nm torque.
It has more than 1000km combined range and can get from zero to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds, says GWM.
Integrated with the 4WD system, the high performance, high efficiency rear motor delivers an independent 135kW power and 232Nm torque, it says.
GWM says the H6GT PHEV has up to 180km electric range via its 35.4kWh battery pack.
“This class-leading technology and range will empower owners to enjoy an all-electric driving for a majority of their urban trips, while the hybrid system ensures peace of mind on those longer journeys,” says GWM Haval’s marketing and communications head Steve Maciver.
“This model is a significant milestone for GWM, showcasing our commitment to pioneering EV solutions that enhance the driving experience without compromise.”
The vehicle offers multiple charging options via AC 6.6kW or DC 48kW.
Fast charging allows the battery to get from 30% to 80% capacity in about 26 minutes.
The GWM H6GT PHEV can be pre-ordered across New Zealand, says GWM, adding customers can visit their local GWM dealership, register interest at https://www.gwmanz.com/nz/models/suv/haval-h6gtphev/ or click here for more information.
