Infinitev offers hybrid and EV battery solutions

Infinitev

Infinitev provides reusable, repurposed, and recycled batteries for hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs) for the New Zealand automotive aftermarket.

Backed by automotive parts wholesaler Amotiv, Infinitev says it leverages extensive experience and a shared vision for a greener automotive future.

Amotiv aims to be a leader in the Asia Pacific (APAC) EV aftermarket, and Infinitev says Kia, Mazda, and Hyundai have chosen Infinitev to deliver EV battery repairs and engineering services locally.

Infinitev says it aims to provide premium-quality, plug-and-play hybrid and EV battery replacements at competitive prices, while ensuring expert support for mechanics and workshops across the country.

“Sustainability is at the core of Infinitev’s commitment to reducing environmental impact via its circular economy business model.”

That includes reusing batteries by repairing and remanufacturing for as long as possible, repurposing batteries for use in non-automotive applications such as energy storage systems, and recycling materials from batteries that can no longer be reused or repurposed.

“This zero-landfill approach underlines Infinitev’s mission to contribute to a sustainable future in the automotive industry,” it says.

Infinitev says it offers significant benefits for New Zealand workshops, including competitive pricing of premium aftermarket batteries to make it easier for workshops to offer high-quality, sustainable solutions to their customers.

The plug-and-play design of Infinitev batteries simplifies the installation process, saving time and reducing complexity, the company says, adding advanced battery cell design improves cooling while fast workshop availability ensures minimal vehicle downtime.

Batteries are available for 99% of hybrid models, including grey imports, says Infinitev, adding that workshops have immediate access to expert guidance on fitting and technical issues with a direct hotline.

Infinitev says it also offers warranty assurance with batteries built under a New Zealand National Transport Research Organisation (NTRO) certified process backed by a three-year, 200,000km warranty, alongside compensation for mechanics in the event of a fault.

It says it does not install batteries but instead directs customers to authorised fitters, creating more business for workshops.
