Cadillac Lyriq RHD 2025 model launches In Japan
Two and a half months after announcing Cadillac’s all-electric crossover in the country, General Motors has officially launched the right-hand-drive 2025 Cadillac Lyriq in Japan.
Cadillac is already in New Zealand with more electric models due here.
The special launch event in Tokyo had the luxury brand relaunched with the latest corporate livery and newest product strategy focused on all-electric models.
The Cadillac Lyriq battery electric vehicle (BEV) is on sale at brand authorised dealer networks nationwide from Saturday, March 8, 2025, says Cadillac Japan, adding deliveries are due to begin after May 2025.
The RHD 2025 Cadillac Lyriq was launched in Japan with the range-topping Sport trim level and dual-motor powertrain, the design including a grille with a wing-shaped light pattern, a blacked-out overall finish, and six-spoke 21-inch wheels.
It has a combined output of 384kW and 610Nm torque, equipped with intelligent AWD, and a 95.7kWh (usable) battery providing 510km range.
Lyriqs for the Japanese market will leave the factory in RHD configuration from the GM Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.
The 2025 Lyriq Sport is priced in Japan at about11,000,000 yen (US$74,350).
