Geely Farizon SuperVan launches in NZ
Auckland-based commercial EV specialist JW Group has officially launched the Geely Farizon SuperVan in New Zealand, bringing a new zero-emissions contender to the country’s commercial vehicle market.
As the authorised distributor of Geely Farizon commercial vehicles in New Zealand, JW Group says the fully electric SuperVan is a compelling choice for businesses looking to decarbonise their fleets.
“The Farizon SuperVan represents a significant step forward in commercial vehicle innovation, offering a combination of performance, safety, and sustainability.
“We look forward to working with businesses nationwide to help electrify their fleets and drive meaningful progress in the commercial EV space,” the company says.
Already gaining traction in Europe and the UK, the Farizon SuperVan will be available in New Zealand with two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options — 83kWh and 106kWh — and a maximum range of up to 350km.
Key specs include a 1800kg payload, 3,500kg gross vehicle mass, sliding side-door with hidden B-pillar, and a weight monitoring system viewable from the driver’s seat.

Safety and driver tech features 30 standard items, including advanced braking, lane assist, and a 12.3-inch LCD touchscreen with a 360-degree camera and Apple CarPlay. Ventilated and heated front seats are also included.
JW Group New Zealand general manager Helena Lee says the arrival of the Farizon SuperVan has been highly anticipated.
“It has been a long time coming, and we are thrilled to see the Farizon SuperVan finally on New Zealand roads—ready to support both local and international businesses.
“We firmly believe the Geely Farizon SuperVan represents the future of commercial electric transport.”
She added that the van will be “competitively priced in New Zealand and fully supported by JW Group, offering comprehensive warranty, maintenance, and parts availability”.
“This is exciting news for the New Zealand market, where vans play a crucial role in freight, delivery, and service industries.
“JW Group is eager to collaborate with businesses across the country to help electrify their fleets and support a more sustainable future,” Lee says.
