Telo EV trucks
A small yet powerful electric truck (ute) offers an estimated 563km range, has a 106kWh battery, dual all-wheel drive motors producing 367.7kW power, can fast charge to 80% in 20 minutes, has an expandable bed or tray (1.5metres to 2.4m) with a foldable mid-gate and is expected to be sold later this year or early 2026.
The Telo MT1 compact e-truck is about as long as a Mini Cooper SE, says Telo Trucks, adding the MT1 was inspired by Japan’s Kei trucks.
Telo chief executive Jason Marks reckons it can take four passengers, the small truck featured in InsideEVs suited to urban use especially and coming with a tonneau cover to protect belongings and tools.
The MT1 can accelerate from zero to 96km/h in four seconds, has a Tesla-developed NACS charging system and is expected to meet all safety standards while being lightweight and affordable, says Telo Trucks.
California-based Telo Trucks aims to sell the e-truck online in the US and globally with pre-orders now available.
