Ferrari details first electric model: 735kW, sub-2.5s 0–100km/h
Ferrari has outlined the technology for its first production EV ahead of a full unveiling in northern spring 2026 with first deliveries due by year’s end.
It features a quad-motor model targeting more than 1000hp (about 735kW), 0–100km/h in under 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 310km/h.
The car sits on a new platform with a 2960mm wheelbase and uses a structural 122kWh, 880V battery pack for an estimated range of around 530km and support for up to 350kW fast charging.
The front e-axle produces 210kW and the rear motors 620kW, spinning to 30,000rpm, with active chassis systems and selectable Range, Tour and Performance modes.
To preserve brand character, Ferrari will amplify real powertrain vibrations captured by sensors rather than play synthetic engine noise — likening the approach to an electric guitar using an external amplifier.
A “Torque Shift Engagement” feature mimics a multi-gear feel via the paddles, adding engine-braking-style resistance or increasing power in steps. Rear-drive can also be locked in via the manettino dial.
Ferrari says more design and interior details will follow ahead of the global reveal next year.
