Kia offers Australian Open trip for EV test drives

Kia New Zealand is offering customers the chance to win a VIP trip to the 2026 Australian Open by completing a test drive of any electric vehicle (EV) from the brand’s range.

The promotion runs until the end of this month, with participants automatically entered into a draw for a prize package valued at $3000. The winner receives two tickets to the Australian Open from 18–21 January 2026, return flights, accommodation and access to Kia’s exclusive Global Hospitality area.

“Kia’s long-standing partnership with the Australian Open underscores our commitment to performance, innovation, and world-class experiences,” says Kia New Zealand managing director Todd McDonald.

“We’re thrilled to give New Zealanders the opportunity not only to get behind the wheel of our latest award-winning range of fully electric, zero-emission vehicles but also to experience the excitement of one of the world’s biggest sporting events in style.”

To enter, customers need to book an EV test drive through Kia’s website, provide contact details and complete the test drive at a registered dealership during the promotion period. The winner will be selected at random and notified by email on 1 December 2025.

The campaign forms part of Kia New Zealand’s broader strategy to connect customers with its expanding EV lineup. The company operates through 33 dealers nationwide and manages its New Zealand operations from Auckland headquarters.
