Volvo EX60 EV images emerge ahead of global reveal
Images of Volvo’s new EX60 electric SUV have emerged online ahead of the model’s official global reveal, which is scheduled for later this week.
The images, published by Kindel Auto after first appearing in an online Reddit community, show the front end of the mid-size electric SUV, which aligns closely with Volvo’s recent design language.
The EX60 features the brand’s signature ‘Thor’s Hammer’ LED headlights and a clean, minimalist front bumper design. Two exterior colours appear in the leaked images, including a dark blue finish and a lighter grey shade.
Until now, Volvo has released only teaser imagery of the EX60 but has confirmed key battery specifications ahead of the full reveal.
Volvo says the EX60 will have a WLTP driving range of up to 810 kilometres, positioning it at the upper end of the mid-size electric SUV segment. By comparison, the Tesla Model 3 Long Range is rated at 750km WLTP.
The EX60 will be built on Volvo’s new SPA3 architecture, which the company says is designed to support enhanced driver assistance systems and faster infotainment processing.
Volvo has confirmed the EX60 is scheduled to reach showrooms globally in mid-2026. A New Zealand launch has not yet been confirmed, but previous Volvo model rollouts suggest local availability could follow later in the year.
