The AA has partnered with EVDB to provide New Zealand motorists with greater access to independent, data-driven information on electric vehicles.
EVDB is an online platform that allows users to explore and compare EVs available in New Zealand, with weekly updated data covering both new and used models, along with tools to support purchasing decisions.
AA chief mobility officer Jonathan Sergel says rising fuel prices and a growing range of more affordable EVs are driving increased consumer interest.
“The partnership with EVDB will mean the AA can promote up-to-date insights to members and customers to help them confidently make the move to sustainable mobility,” Sergel says.
He says EVDB’s independence is a key strength.
“What we love about EVDB is that it’s fiercely independent, meaning the content isn’t swayed by advertising deals or sponsorships. If you want accurate insights to help you make informed decisions, EVDB is the place to go.”

EVDB founder James Foster says the partnership will help expand the reach of EV information at a time of growing demand.
“The AA is a trusted expert for New Zealand road users, and their scale and reach across New Zealand means they can extend EVDB’s reach at a time where electric vehicle insights have never been in greater demand,” Foster says.
