GAC International has unveiled a new global growth strategy and a range of upcoming models as it targets becoming one of China’s leading automotive exporters by 2030.

The company used its first dedicated global launch event at Auto China 2026 in Beijing to outline plans centred on “Craftsmanship, Trust, Technology and Ecosystem”, describing the approach as a shift from traditional exporting towards broader global integration.

GAC says the strategy will focus on full-chain globalisation supported by advanced technology, intelligent vehicle systems and ecosystem development.

The company says it is continuing to invest heavily in research and development to support the rollout of intelligent and electrified vehicles across global markets.

Global partner conference held in Guangzhou

Ahead of Auto China, GAC hosted its 2026 International Partner Conference in Guangzhou under the theme “Driving Forward, Winning Together”.

The event brought together more than 700 dealers and partners from 87 countries and regions, making it the largest conference of its kind held by the company to date.

The conference featured displays of robotics, AI technologies and concept mobility solutions, including a flying car, robotic service systems and AI-powered demonstrations.

GAC says the event highlighted its ambition to strengthen global competitiveness through technology and ecosystem innovation rather than simply exporting vehicles.
