Ford NZ managing director Annaliese Atina says nothing is ruled out, including the Fathom electric ute and the battery electric Bronco, as the brand seeks more electrified product for New Zealand.
Ford has confirmed the China-built Bronco Basecamp range-extender SUV for New Zealand from the second half of 2027, with a 49kWh battery, 800 to 900km combined range and 6.6kW of vehicle-to-load.
Ford will source vehicles from China for the first time, confirming the Transit City van and Bronco Basecamp for New Zealand as it targets doubling its market coverage to more than 60% within three years.
