30 tonnes of CO2 saved by Vector chargers
Vector’s electric vehicle charging stations continue to be used regularly.
Since the company began installing chargers in November 2015, it has served 21.82MWh of electricity, potentially saving as much as 29,000 kilograms of CO2 from being emitted into the atmosphere.

The busiest station over the past week was Newmarket, with 85 charges; the average number of charging sessions recorded was 32.42 sessions; the average length of a charging session was 22.21 minutes; and the megawatt hours consumed amounted to 1.30MWh.
The average electric car can drive 5,754km on every MWh of electricity served. On average, a medium-sized petrol car emits 0.231kg CO2 emissions per kilometre.
