New Zealand business customers will finally have an electric option for their van fleets, with Renault confirming its EV lineup is on its way.

The brand, which is continuing its revival mode since distribution was taken over by the Giltrap Spencer group in 2014, will bring in the Kangoo small van, as well as the Zoe hatchback.

“Renault New Zealand is currently preparing for the roll-out of its electric vehicle range,” the company posted online over the holiday period. “This preparation involves research into infrastructure, training and a full support system.”

Interested buyers will be able to sign up for updates from mid-January.

Renault notes they will also have a ‘Wall Box’ charger available.
