MG electric mid-2018

MGMG is set to take advantage of Britain’s move to zero-emissions vehicles, putting electric cars into that market mid-2018.

The Chinese owned British brand will have a new battery powered ZSe model for under 20,000 pounds (NZ$37,864), The Sun reports.

“The ZS is the start of a new era,” MG Motor UK sales and marketing head Matthew Cheyne says. “We’ve already dropped diesel and we will launch the fully-electric ZSe next year.
