The Kettleman City lounge open 24 hours has food and “craft beverages”, restrooms, seating, free wi-fi and a Tesla apparel and accessory shop, a children’s play area and pet toilet spot.
Access is through a code on Tesla’s infotainment display.
The two stations have covered solar parking and a Tesla Powerpack system for storing the solar energy to supply the 40 stalls.
Tesla expects to continue using this system as it expands its Supercharger network, particularly for added demand from its eventual Model 3.
