ChargeNet finalising switch to Type 2 connectors

ChargeNet NZ is advising customers that all its remaining chargers will switch over to CSS Type 2 connectors within a week or two.

This switch over will mark the completion of our standardisation process intended to provide customers with a more consistent offering, the company says.

ChargeNet says BMW i3 owners are the only people who may be affected by this change.

“So if you haven’t switched over to a Type 2 connector yet, now is a good time to do so.”

ChargeNet suggests BMW i3 owners talk to their BMW dealer to get their car’s inlet upgraded if they haven’t already.
