Transport innovators sought

Callaghan Innovation wants to hear about New Zealand’s transport innovators.

ITS New Zealand has been asked by Callaghan Innovation to help identify such innovators.

Callaghan Innovation works with large transport-related companies as well as small innovators solving transport problems with science and technology.

That includes helping connect partnerships, capabilities and resources to take ideas forward. Often the barrier is finding the right technical expert, university data/research, test bed, commercial education, funding support, or start-up partner for a project, the organisation says.

Those who are developing innovations in ITS, transport and smart city technology, future mobility, and those with innovative business models who have identified growth opportunities should notify Callaghan Innovation by the close of business on August 17.

This is an opportunity for ITS New Zealand members and those who attended T-Tech 2018, ITS NZ says.

“If you know of another organisation that should be considered please invite them to get in contact and consider being part of the future transport conversation by joining ITS New Zealand.”
