Peugeot e-Legend EV for Paris show

Peugeot launches its electric sports coupe concept the e-Legend at the Paris Motor Show on October 2-14.
It’s a “hyper-technological” version of the company’s classic 504 Coupe which commemorates 50 years next year.
The e-Legend takes advantage of parent company Groupe PSA’s electric drive technology to be developed from 2019 with about 15 electrified models to be launched during the next two years.
The two-door concept will have a 100kWh battery producing 800Nm torque and able to reach 100km/h in under four seconds and a 220km/h top speed.
It’s expected to have a 600km range and gain a further 500km in 25 minutes through induction fast charging.
The e-Legend incorporates autonomous technology and digitalisation.
Peugeot design director Gilles Vidal says while some details are linked to the original 504, the e-Legend is not a remake or a retro version.
