EROAD signs first major US customer

EROAD has signed a deal with one of the largest privately owned fleets in North America for the delivery of around 4900 Ehubo 2 telematic units.
The agreement marks the first U.S. based enterprise customer for the New Zealand-based transport technology services company and comes after a successful pilot programme.
The deal does not specify any minimum unit commitment. Given the fleet size and geographical locations, it is anticipated that the majority of units will be installed during FY20.
The customer’s full fleet operates out of hundreds of branches located within most states.
Ehubo2 offers easy-to-use applications on a single device aimed at improving fleet safety, productivity and profitability. It includes real-time driver feedback, fuel management, RUC management and more.
News of the deal saw EROAD’s share price leap from NZ$2.10 per share to over NZ$2.40.
