‘World’s Top Car’ announced soon

The World Car Awards grand final will be held at the New York International Auto Show on April 17, with two electrics in the top three.
In the running for the World Car of the Year are the Audi e-tron, Jaguar I-Pace and Volvo S60.
This list for the event’s 15th anniversary adds emphasis to the world-wide trend towards electrified vehicles and SUVs.
The countdown to World Car 2019 began in February, where the top 10 World Car finalists were announced.
The “Top Three Cars in the World” were announced at the Geneva Motor Show, and jurors selected the late Sergio Marchionne, who helped transform Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), as the second annual World Car Person of the Year recipient – that award accepted by FCA chief executive officer Michael Manley.
Last year’s World Car of the Year was the Volvo XC60. This year, the results will be announced at New York City’s Javits Centre.
