Walking robot delivers packages to your door

A two-legged robot is being developed to deliver goods from driverless vehicles to the recipient.

Ford wants to have walking robots like Digit ready to work as early as 2021, carrying items weighing up to 18kg from its fleet of autonomous vehicles (AVs) about “the last 15 metres”.

Made by Agility Robotics, the headless robot moves like a human and can deliver packages up stairways.
