Foresight opens AV vision system centre
An innovator in automotive vision systems, Israel-based Foresight Autonomous Holdings has opened a demonstration centre to visitors.
Foresight is targeting the semi-autonomous and autonomous vehicle (AV) markets and predicts that its systems will revolutionise automotive safety by providing an automotive-grade, cost-effective platform and advanced technology.
The QuadSight demonstration centre near Foresight’s offices gives customers, business partners and investors an opportunity to ride in a vehicle equipped with Foresight’s automotive vision system.
“As we continue to develop one of the most advanced automotive vision systems, we are witnessing growing demand from the industry to get a real feel of the system,” Foresight’s chief executive officer Haim Siboni says.
“The centre will allow potential investors to appreciate the QuadSight system’s capabilities.”
QuadSight is Foresight’s ground-breaking advanced vision system for semi-autonomous and autonomous vehicles.
The advanced demonstration equipment, simulating rain, fog, glare and complete darkness, enables them to see, in real time, the QuadSight system’s outstanding obstacle detection capabilities in extreme weather and lighting conditions.

The system comprises four cameras and is designed to detect nearly 100% of obstacles under any lighting and weather conditions. Launched in January, the QuadSight prototype systems has been installed at leading vehicle manufacturers for further evaluation and testing, with a fourth system to be installed shortly.
The demonstration centre’s opening is designed to further expose Foresight’s vision system to investors from around the world, including strategic partners and key players from the automotive industry.
Founded in 2015, Foresight Autonomous Holdings is a technology company engaged in the design, development and commercialisation of sensor systems for the automotive industry.
Its wholly owned subsidiaries, Foresight Automotive and Eye-Net Mobile, help Foresight develop both “in-line-of-sight” vision systems and “beyond-line-of-sight” cellular-based applications designed to improve driving safety by enabling highly accurate and reliable threat detection.
