Electric snow scooter wins MPIDEA 2019 comp

Electric snow scooter eLyly won the Best of the World’s Competition MPIDEA for entrepreneurs Pasi and Minna Kauppinen from Central Finland.

They received a five-month growth accelerator programme prize from leadership consulting firm McKinsey & Company for their ecological and silent snow scooter before 100 people at the Manufacturing Performance Days (MPD) awards.

The prize offers an opportunity for the e-snow scooter to become a global success.

After hearing about eLyly’s victory, Pasi Kauppinen, who has been organising snow safaris for 30 years, joked: “Yesterday I heard on the radio that it was snowing in Australia, I like it!”
