Mini’s first EV, the Cooper SE

The new Mini Cooper SE
The new Mini Cooper SE is the first Mini model to offer emissions-free driving.
The model-specific lithium-ion battery enables a range of 235 to 270 kilometres and a combined power consumption of 15.0-13.2 kWh/100km.
The Mini was launched in 2001, entering the premium segment of small cars.
The dimensions, design, space and interior ambience of the new Cooper SE are based on the Mini 3 Door, the development of which took account of the expansion of the model range to include an electrically powered version.

The high-voltage battery with model-specific configuration is made up of lithium-ions cells subdivided into 12 modules. It provides a gross energy content of 32.6 kWh and a maximum roque of 270 Nm.
The Cooper SE accelerates from standing to 60km/h in just 3.9 second and its top speed is limited to 150km/h.
It can be charged through a conventional household power socket, the Mini electric wallbox or a public charging station. Its charging connection is designed for AC and DC charging using type 2 and CCs combo 2 plugs.
