Evoke electric motorcycles fine-tuned
Evoke Motorcycles’ Urban Series 2020, which went into production on August 1, has had several improvements.
To make it smoother and more powerful, Evoke has tweaked its Sine Wave Inverter to 800 phase amps – double that of its 2019 models, and remapped the throttle for better control and an improved riding experience.
A non-touch LCD screen also improves display. Previously, riders had to park the motorcycle to switch between modes by pressing a button to unlock the screen first. Now riders can change modes on the move. Pressing a button switches from Pro mode to City and vice-versa, when going from the highway to an alleyway or back.
“Our new electronic control unit (ECU), version 1.15, which controls the software, batteries and screen have been installed in our latest motorcycles,” Evoke says.
“This gives vehicle diagnostics and improves the experience, with better performance. The ECU has given our smart e-motorcycles rapid response, and due to this, the refresh rate is accelerated.”
Evoke Electric Motorcycles is a technology company that designs, develops, and manufactures electric motorcycles, small electric vehicles and electric power train components for urban transportation.
